Here (at Euro-Matic) we all attach great importance to environmental responsibility! For example, the plastic frames in which the balls are produced are reused, so that we come as close as possible to the zero waste principle.

Although our factory is modern and production is almost completely automated, our colleagues still carry out personal quality controls to ensure our top quality.

What I find particularly impressive is that we also subject our playpen balls to extensive stress tests. We compress the balls to half their original diameter 20.000 times (!). If they pass this test, we know they are ready for the happiest of children… and adults, guaranteed for many years to come.

What could be the simplest, cheapest and most effective solution?

Although a solid surface is not an option for most installations, there is still the possibility of a covering. The covering layer created by the balls is a flexible system that does not require compromises, as it does not interfere with the technology used and still offers all the advantages.

What are the facts?

When a sufficient number of balls cover the surface, they naturally arrange themselves next to each other to isolate more than 90% and adapt to any movement and changing level. Of course, you first have to determine which material is suitable for which chemical. Whether it is PP, HDPE or PVDF depends on the temperature, concentration and type of chemical used.

The sphere layer isolates the liquid from the environment, significantly reducing their interaction and creating an excellent thermal insulation barrier. Feedback data shows energy savings of up to 75%, suggesting a fast short-term ROI.

The balls also reduce chemical evaporation by 85-90%, resulting in minimal energy, time and material loss when refilling fluids.

Last but not least, the ball cover creates a much safer working environment. Preventing accidents caused by splashes and preventing the release of fumes into the air contributes to a healthier working environment. Powerful extraction systems that would be expensive to install, operate and maintain may not even be needed!
